She’s a legend, she’s an icon, and she is… DT Sugar Chex Whiz! After some well deserved time off, Sugar came to see us to start her preparations for getting back in the roping arena.


  • Utilizing workouts in the Aqua-tread are low impact but high resistance. This combination builds back muscle, works the core, and builds endurance without the increased risk of injury after long periods of time off.


  • Cross training is so important paired with the Aqua-tread workouts!! We implement exercises such as ground work over poles, and long trot workouts to build core strength and endurance, but also ensure those muscles we’ve built up in the water are explosive on the ground!


  • Sugar’s favorite part of the day is her daily PEMF and Theraplate sessions. We use these therapy tools to combat muscle tension and soreness that may occur from the high resistance training. It also makes for a perfect time to take a mid day nap. Relax, repair, repeat!


We are so happy with her progress here with us, and now she’s headed home ready to get back to work!!
